Man Cannot live on bread alone...

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’"

Matthew 4:1-4

Bread Alone

I could not pursue this avenue of blogging without sharing the Gospel, for I am a child of God. All that I am is because of him- the way he has answered changed my life and answered my prayers. I love food and cooking, but God comes first, and shall be my focus. I care about sharing recipes, not so that people may be given to gluttony and the worship of food, but I know how in times of struggle, a good meal can, in a small way, make your day better. Coming from a poor background, almost being homeless once, I know what it is to struggle, but I was not truly alone at any time, for God carried me through and slowly has changed my life. I hope by sharing food, I can share my love for him and for you.
